Project Overview

For this project I will be designing a website for recipes. The requirements for this visual design project were the website needed to be informative, visually interesting and typographically sound. The website should be captivating to the user in a high fidelity desktop and mobile prototype.

Challenges

There are many challenges I face creating this recipe site interface. In the end I LOVE my design I created but it took work to get here. For the project in general we had challenges to consider 

​

  • Visual interest from page to page while maintaining consistency

  • How the user will interact with the website

  • The purpose of the website is immediately evident to the user

  • Keep the information clear and concise

Reflections

I feel really inspired to make this a live site after creating Yamon.com prototype. After building this portfolio site you are reading, Im confident I can make Yamon.com come to life. I'm even considering making a cooking youtube channel to go along with the brand. Ahh Visual design and cooking who knew it could pair well.
